Right Start Pregnancy Management

Our Right Start Program is designed to give you the information you need to take care of yourself and your baby during and after pregnancy. Information is provided to help you understand nutritional needs, recognize the symptoms of pre-term labor, understand the stages of pregnancy and answer questions that may arise.

The Right Start Program includes:

  • Patient education materials including books, classes and brochures
  • One-on-one counseling with a registered nurse
  • Prenatal health education classes
  • Home care services for high-risk members

Members may enroll in the Right Start program by consulting their physician when they are pregnant.

If you're expecting, quitting smoking is the most important thing you can do for yourself and your baby. When you stop using tobacco products, you will have more energy and breathe more easily. Additionally, your baby will get more oxygen and be more likely to be born at a normal weight.
